This fresh, preservative-free pesto is produced using a time-honoured recipe that includes only seven ingredients. It starts with PDO Genoese basil seedlings, continues with the savoury flavour of PDO Fiore Sardo cheese and PGI Trapani sea salt, and is topped off with Vessalico garlic, a fragrant variety that grows only in the upper Arroscia valley, in Liguria.
