Kipster, together with Lidl Netherlands, has developed a smoked chicken sausage made from laying hens, instead of the usual broiler chickens. It was awarded a three-star Beter Leven Keurmerk, which indicates that the prod- uct was developed according to strict animal welfare guidelines.
