ABBI Holding has launched a Sardinian Carasau flatbread that is produced according to long-standing Italian tradition. The process starts with flaking, which is necessary to improve and homogenise the dough, followed by a first baking. Then it is cooled to room temperature, ahead of the oiling and salting phase, which precedes the second baking, also known as biscuit-baking.
